Alternatives to outdoor carpet for exposed plywood shelf I'm going to put in my bed?

Title pretty much says it. Just took delivery on a 2025 and I'm going to utilize the little insets on the bedsides install a couple of boards from side to side and then put some plywood on top of that. Basically just to give me two levels of storage, one of which is out of sight and mostly out of the weather.
I've done something similar in the past and installed outdoor carpet to cover the plywood surface And to provide a relatively soft surface to place things on that I don't want getting scratched up by the bed itself.
Curious as to other options anyone may have used?
Again, looking for something kind of soft. Otherwise I would just get a decent grade of exterior plywood and paint it

Same thoughts here too. Might have to put some plastic over the wood… just depends on the look desired, the function desired… and how much pain and expense to get it dialed in.

I've looked but so far I can only find precut sets for specific trucks. The Bedrug site itself seems to direct you to Amazon for all their (precut) products.
Do you know specifically where simple oversized rectangular pieces, of linear feet off of a roll, can be purchased?
