Nicely done. I see a wire tap in the fuse box in the second picture. Is that your trigger for the Auxbeam and if so can I assume it's triggered off the ignition? My set up is very similar other than the fact that I used the IGN fuse in the driver's side fuse box. It works fine but I could eliminate six feet of wire using the passenger side fuse box, I just could never find triggered power in that box. Maybe I just wasn't persistent enough but everything I checked in the fuse box seemed to be constantly powered...
Do you have a reference of what fuse you had it tapped into on the drivers side and what the amp amount was on the add a fuse? Also trying to figure out why the fuse from the truck fuse box does not fit into the add a fuse. Thanks

I tapped the IGN fuse in the driver's side fuse box, which is F51 in this diagram. Note that the truck will randomly energize this circuit for some reason even when the truck is powered off. It's a common complaint that anyone who has directly wired lights into the fuse will see the lights randomly flash on and off hours after the truck was locked.

This isn't really a problem with Auxbeam or any other of the switch panels b/c in order for that switch panel to be on you have to: A) have power from the IGN fuse and then B) power the Auxbeam unit on. So even if the Auxbeam has power to it, it won't energize the circuits until you manually power the Auxbeam on. Hope that makes sense...

As for the fuse tap, remember there are various style fuses and most add-a-fuse fuse taps will come with an assortment of the styles and you have to figure out which one works with your vehicle. Even in the "Mini" style fuse, which is what our truck takes, there are a couple of different styles. Some have a cut out in the middle of the fuse and some don't. You just have to find the one that fits our truck... Pull the fuse in the IGN position and compare it to your add-a-fuse wiring (if it's not fitting) and it will probably be different even though technically they're the same size.
