Went up from 265/70R18 (32.64" & 46lbs) to 275/70R18 (33.19" & 45.5lbs) in the Nitto Terra Grappler G3 if anyone wants to see side by side comparison of the two sizes. 275 feels less harsh on road.

Apache off road 1/2" rear spacer will go on the rear tomorrow.

Just keeping this thread updated on my 5100 dilemma:
I had measured 2 ish inches of factory rake at the wheel wells, but with the 1.4" front setting the truck looked slightly nose high at times though it measured perfectly level all the way around at the wheel wells multiple times.
After putting a .5" spacer in the rear my 4x4 guy took multiple measurements and going by the rockers/cab the truck ended up near perfectly even with 1.4" in the front (realistically 1.75" on that setting) and .5" in the rear. I think the issue is two fold: the bilsteins are sitting a little higher than stated, like extreme terrain said, and I didn't actually have a full 2" of rake. Probably more like 1.25"
With a lot of the kits folks do these rigs look nose high to me. Whether they are or not, I don't know, but that's not the look (or functionality) I want so I am having him drop the front to the 1" setting which will likely be 1.50"+ and keeping the rear .5" spacer.
Will post a photo and measurements when complete!

haha. It makes the 265 look like how the stock 245s vs 265s step-up improves the look.

Big time! Such a better ride too, even over inflated.
Now I just gotta get these damn Bilstein and alignment issues solved. Other than that, I am happy with the setup.

Yes, every set up can be a little different. I just had the Eibach Pro Truck 2r installed. The shop did not change the settings of the front struts, which come set at 2”. The rear shocks did not change the stance since the air bags already added about a 1/2”. So, when all was said and done my truck came out perfectly leveled. Perfect height for my 285/70/17 G3.

Looks good !
Man I almost did the Eibach Pro (not the 2r) and now that I've been back and forth with the bilsteins' setting issues and bought spacers etc ... Should have just spent the extra money on the Eibach kit!

Also, seems like that 1.25-1.5" is the sweet spot for level on these, you think ?

Curious how those Westcott are getting level with 2.5/.75

Ok. Final update here on my 5100 saga. The guy at my 4x4 shop is awesome and spent quite a bit of time getting the front dialed for me.
So with the front at the first circlip (1" setting) the truck was almost level, a tad nose high like @magicbenjils experienced with his truck, but we fixed that with a 1/2 rear spacer.
If you measure by the wheel wells and use those as your reference for "level" the body of your truck will be nose high. Use the front and rear of the rocker/cab for measurements.
I was a little frustrated at first so I had thought about just taking the Billy's out and getting an Eibach kit, but too much waiting and cost associated with that. I really like the ride of the 5100s big time, so I think later I'm just going to do the full All Dogs spacer eraser set and get 1.5" lift all around with factory rake.

Done for now! Will post a photo later today.

Cheers,

I don’t believe it’s a one size fits all. It certainly would be nice if it was. I think it depends on a few factors and the type of set up you have.

I partially agree with you, partially disagree! Hybrid will be different due to the stiffer springs and added weight. Sport will be different due to the sport tuned suspension as well (Bilstein says 5100s are not compatible compatible with the sport) but unless you have already made some other suspension modifications or big weight changes, the SR5s and ORs aren't coming from the factory with huge engineering and assembly variances truck-to-truck.
But yea, you gotta figure out what your truck needs based on your mods and dial it in individually for sure!

Bilstein 5100s set at 1" in the front which gave 1.5" lift at the front wheel well. 1/2" apache off road rear spacer. 275/70R18.
