Anyone have tried BRIDGESTONE DUELER A/T ASCENT yet?

I am looking at replacing my falken wild peak AT4W 285/70/17. Why? I am doing 90 miles commute on highway every day.

What size are you planning to get? If you're planning to stay with 285/70R17 then it looks like those Bridgestones only come in an E-load range which will be heavier than your current AT4W's. I think the extra weight would decrease fuel economy.

I have dueler ascent, but in 275/70 r18. They are a little heavier than stock, no humming, rolls good around corners. Got them from costco, not cheap $318 each, free balance/ install. 60k warranty. Lost 2mpg from stock.

Actually, they weight the same. My falken is SL and it is 53 lbs. I am looking at Toyo Open Country AT III.

I’m getting those installed on my 2025 today at Costco. I’ve run KO2s on my prior Toyotas. I decided to try something new this time around. I can update in a few days after some winter driving in Alaska.

Good catch! I saw E-load and assumed heavier, but I forgot just how heavy the AT4W's are.

Wondering if they're still treating you well? I have a 2024 Tacoma Off Road with 47k on the original tires, but I am skating in the snow and slush this winter. I found a great deal on a set of TRD Pro wheels, I want to put these Dueller Ascent ATs on them, LT275/70/R18.

Also, perhaps more importantly, did you go white letters out? I have a black truck, now with the black wheels, I feel like I want to break it up a little.

White letters in. I had KO2 on an F150 and it rode harder than brudgestone dueler.

My wife's Wrangler had OEM Bridgestone Dueller ATs and we just replaced them at 50K. Probably could have gotten more, but we go through passes regularly. Really liked them! Took them all over the place in the mountains, over passes, across the country, service roads, mud. Couldn't tell if they were loud because, well, Jeep, but we liked them!

I have 275/70R18 Yokohama Geolandar A/T4 on my Tacoma. True 33". SL. 3 peak rated. 43 lbs. A little bit of hum between 35-45 but really comfy tire. Not overly aggressive. $262 ea @ discount tire

Looks like Yokohama Geolandar A/T4 in 285/70R17 SL are 44 lbs /$286 per tire, 33" OA diameter. Worth a look!

After year s of BF Goodrich KO2s, I went with the Bridgestone on my 2025 Tacoma. I would say they are a little bit quieter on the highway than the KO2s. I found the BFGoodrich a little better on ice, but I think the Bridgestone is as good or better in the snow. I also stayed with the stock size as I’m trying to maintain the best mileage possible. 245/70/17.
