So now I'm curious what the limiting factor is... Boost or fuel... 🤔
Being that the trucks have port and direct injection, it will be easy to upgrade the port injectors, so fuel won't be a concern. The intercooler needs upgraded, even on the stock turbo. Ethanol blend is going to show a huge gain, and I plan to do some of that tuning this week on my personal truck.

This is exciting. Id been missing my turbo cars. I like what Im seeing from both Cobb and OTT. Now I want to share a dyno that will make every tuner squirm. Ive had my fair share of DSMs, subarus, bmws all that I will ofcourse build and tune. This graph is of a stock 04 forester XT with downpipe, and intercooler upgrade. The ecu was locked on this 04 for some reason, so it went back to stock as soon as we saw these AFRs! Id like to add I never lost an engine in my subarus either, fxt, sti.

I've done literally tens of thousands of Subaru dyno pulls and they all do this on the stock calibrations. The closed loop to open loop delay on the USDM cars is there to lower emissions. If you pull a stock file from a JDM car, the delay is 0.
You're correct that this is no good at all, and a huge reason why a tune is needed after a downpipe because the car will come into boost sooner, and stay lean in boost longer.
Thanks for sharing the graph!

I want this bad… for a hybrid. It is a nervous consideration though since I got the 100k platinum warranty also.
And I’d probably need some custom tune configs with SXTH intake, SXTH intercooler and AWE exhaust.
While my truck isn't hybrid, the engine calibration portion should not differ. Hybrid support is very near, and highly anticipated!!
Post downpipe exhaust, while it does add a little flow, isn't something that needs to be tuned for until you get into much higher power levels. Most of the restriction is the turbo itself, and the downpipe with catalytic converters.
I will be receiving my own SXTH intake and intercooler in the coming days and will publish those results, and will have a very dialed in custom calibration for those parts that I can offer to customers who also have the intake, intercooler, or both.

Anxious to hear if the truck is particular about intake and tuning as the old subarus. I hav ethe K&N 63 series that replaces the whole inlet and adds a small airhorn to step down to the compressor inlet. If you havent come across it I put together a little thread here: https://www.tacoma4g.com/forum/thre...-clip-video-on-gas-2024-tacoma-4th-gen.11803/

Since the truck is open loop in boost, any change to MAF location within the pipe or change to pipe diameter can affect air fuel. I'll be doing some dyno tuning on the SXTH intake in the next week or so and should have some data then. The K&N stuff on Subaru always scaled nearly the same as stock. That intake you have looks nice. Just keep from over oiling the filter so you don't trash your MAF sensor.
