Divet in non-scoop hood…from new/factory

Specific to the non-scoop hood…does anyone else notice their hood having a large shallow divet, about 10-12 inches from the front edge in the middle. Can only see it during certain light reflections…but it’s visible. On my truck it’s been there since new, and I’ve noticed other trucks have it too. What is causing this sometimes very noticeable deformation in the hood?

Hmmm, mine doesn’t have that; so far, so good. I’m wondering about outside influences such as automatic car washes.

Mine doesn’t have that exact divet but flexes at high speeds. Mine has two tiny divets right at the front of the hood kinda where you grab to open it up

If your hood flexes with speed you probably need a Zekzoop for your hood.

This would do absolutely nothing for the sheet metal flexing.

Other users have reported an improvement with the hood fluttering.

Something that hangs below the hood bracing is not going to help the outer sheet metal from flexing. This would require direct contact.
