i usually wash my car every 2 to 3 weeks , i have had some recent models before the tacoma but not 1 of my old cars got tough to clean stains, sometimes it’s mud, or bugs , i apply water then soap and try to wash with the car brush, then rinse and these blemishes don’t fall off i have to go in with a microfiber and use some elbow grease to remove the 🤔

not the first car i have washed so i don’t know if it’s something on this model specifically?

also it seems to chip very easily 🤔🤔

what you guys think?

Ceramic nano coat. I did Chemical Guys version, applied it myself. Repeat every 3-5 years.

Paint is thin from the factory. Get a clear PPF wrap in the suspect areas.

Your wash sessions will only require 1 beer vs 2-3 next time… 🍺

+1 on the Turtle Wax ceramic spray. Stuff works great, easy to put on and smells pretty.

I use ceracote brand. My research says they make ceramic for a bunch of other brands. Used it for a couple of years on my wife’s car and my previous truck. Worked well enough. Easy enough to find and it’s cheap enough that I just reapply it once a year before winter. Dirt runs away when I look at the hose.

Same here. I used to think that Turtle Wax was crap until I read about it on here and used it. Easiest stuff I’ve ever applied and man does it shine. I hit everything with it, even the “chrome” plastic wheels and they are like mirrors and the best part is tgat the dirt comes right off and they are mirrors again. Same for the plastic trim. I am a believer. 👍🏻

Agreed, the Turtle Wax graphene spray wax is great if you want to keep it simple.

That said, the adams advanced graphene coating is on another level. I used to detail cars when these coatings came out, and It's amzing how far they've come with their ease of application, and how well they protect. Dirt jumps off the paint with a pressure washer.

Paint is so thin these days that you need all the help you can get if you plan to keep a vehicle around for the long term.
