What did you end up getting? Do you have an example of it?I bought these and what I'm disappointed about is that I expected it to also contain the parts explosion diagrams... So far I'm failing to find them.
The Factory Service Manual was never intended to include the Electronic Parts Catalog. They have always been separate.I bought these and what I'm disappointed about is that I expected it to also contain the parts explosion diagrams... So far I'm failing to find them.
I've never seen it distributed. But, there have been sites that have it available online. I just checked PartSouq and they finally have the Gen4 Tacoma EPC available. I didn't study it, only observed it's available.Anyone know where to get a copy of the parts manual/diagrams then?
You get the BM (Body Manual), EM (Electrical Manual), and RM (Repair Manual). It gives you both PDF versions and HTML driven ones for a but more interactive. The "Service Manual" is the factory technician style, and the "Manual & Service Workshop Guide" is stated as being more "user friendly".What did you end up getting? Do you have an example of it?
Thanks for the link. played around but unfortunately it's lying. if you select 2024 or 2025 it just spits out the diagrams for gen3 (2015+). Nothing for the gen4 that I can find or get to pop up.I've never seen it distributed. But, there have been sites that have it available online. I'm looking at it. So far it shows the turbo, it only shows a 4 cylinder, and the air filter part number is correct. This also appears to be correct. Thanks for the link. played around but unfortunately it's lying. if you select 2024 or 2025 it just spits out the diagrams for gen3 (2015+). Ah. As soon as you select a trim level, they all get hidden and you only get the 2015 files. Their filters aren't accurate (since clearly none of the others should appear at all as soon as you select the year).I'm looking at it. Their filters are a problem, I agree. I just selected the year, and manual transmission. The rest fell into place. I seem to recall you can also enter your VIN to filter this down further.Ah. Thanks for cluing me in to back up a few steps in filtering and just scroll the longer list.
Any comments on factorymanuals.net vs ALLDATA? I have an ALLDATA subscription for my 2014 ES350 and it has been helpful with most of the repairs and maintenance info I have been doing.Just wanted to pass along to anyone interested in getting the factory manuals, they are currently 20% off at factorymanuals.net with discount code: 20DOWNUS. Hope this helps anyone that likes to be able to work on their trucks.
I also bought the manual using the coupon code from this thread. I cleaned up the index html files for Electrical Manual, Body Manual, Repair Manual. I've been happy with this purchase.I tried to paste the table of contents/index in but it's too long and I get an error when attempting to post.
I used to have ALLDATA for my vehicle and I bought the manuals from factorymanual.net for my Tacoma. The one thing I think ALLDATA has a leg up on these PDF manual is the search function.Any comments on factorymanuals.net vs ALLDATA? I would agree about searching. I have an Evernote subscription for something else, but I just dumped all 5000+ PDFs from this manual in there to make them much easier to search. If that’s all you used Evernote for, that subscription wouldn’t be worth it, but it works for me and the info became searchable.I used to have ALLDATA for my vehicle and I bought the manuals from factorymanual.net for my Tacoma. With ALLDATA you can search anything and it’ll show you relevant data with the search terms. With these PDF you need to know what you’re after for the search to be somewhat useful.
