Hello All,
I am in the process of picking a lift for my 24 TRD OR P and would like those who have one of these two lifts share there thoughts and why they picked what they picked. I will also be getting a billet UCA. My use is for daily driving but trips hiking, MTB, camping and getting out into the back country. I don’t want to go over 2-2.5” of lift. I am not afraid of some rock crawling if I come across it but that’s not the real plan for this rig . I have a built up Jeep for that . I am sharing links from 88 rotors and will be asking them the same questions.

Accutune has a lot of information on their website: https://accutuneoffroad.com/articles/fox-vs-king-oem-coilovers/

I honestly don't think you can go wrong with either one. If you order from Accutune, they will customize the shock valving based on how you want it to handle. I have a set of Fox 2.5 DSC from Accutune on my 2018 F150. I told Accutune that it's mostly a daily driver so they tuned it that way. I have no complaints with the Fox shocks, but I've never owned Kings so I can't say which is better.

King all the way I bought it for their long-term reputation and performance and for desert racing and crawling ability. I went with the total chaos, king suspension, along with new billet, sway bar and links.
I don't regret spending the money one bit, i giggle every time I go over something bumpy fast and around the corner, like a Porsche.
I have over 5000 miles on the suspension and have had no problems with the front end..

I heard King is amazing - but do they require a total rebuild every 20K miles or so? I’ve heard this but it doesn’t mean I’m right - I’m just asking (yes, it depends is probably the answer but are Fox shocks more like OME that don’t need to be messed with)?

I went with King performance shocks as well and 88 Rotors did the install. I’m very pleased with the King’s, a highly recommended suspension upgrade.

Buy once, cry once.

Fox Factory series also need to be rebuilt occasionally. Any of these "race" shocks are going to need periodic maintenance. Fox Performane, OME or a Billstein product are going to be more "durable" in that regard.

Kings gets our vote too. In experiences with Jeep, other trucks, etc.. Kings wins, unless you're doing a baja design build then theres other crazy setups but otherwise, its great.

We have these in stock and can work a forum discount.
