ICON Tacoma 1.25-3" Lift, Stage 2 System vs Readylift 3" SST2.1 System w/ Falcon 2.1 Shocks

Does anyone have either of these installed on their 4th Gen? If so, can you provide your feedback: likes, dislikes, issues, etc.? Trying to decide between the two. I was able to drive an SR5 with the Readylift, but I have not driven the Icon. The Readylift rode and drove well on the street. It was a little firmer than my '25 Off Road, but not in a bad way. It reduced body roll and nose dive on braking. It was compliant and well controlled.

I would say the Icons are better than the Readylift. We used to get good feedback on the Icon more than Readylift from the Jeep platform. Haven't done much of the Tacos yet since these are all newer.

We have them in stock, can work you a deal on either.

I drove a 24 Taco OR with the Readylift on it and it was what I would describe
(disclaimer, opinions are like assholes Everyone has one.)
The readylift was that's described as a suit and tie lift something to look at that, not functional.
I would recommend talking to R4Tacos ask for Twan
I put the total Chaos king Coil over on my with new king end links and dobson rear Springs

Great explanation. Spacer, readylift, pro comp lifts are only for looks. I’m waiting for Bilstein 8100’s or Icon CDEV.

if I were to add my 2 cents, I’d start at the Icon Stage 4.

you're absolutely right. Suspensions are expensive and it is a big decision. But if you're like me, you will get tired of driving around bottoming out on the stock bump stops and eventually pony up and buy a lift kit.
My suggestion is don't cheap out, like Toyota wants to sell, ready lift good luck..
My local Toyota dealership, put my Total chaos king suspension kit on hand kept it under warranty.

the falcon shocks did well in a blind comparison test on a 3rd gen tacoma, they interest me for these new trucks as well

I've spoken with Falcon twice now and each time I've been told they don't have a product that will allow me to level out the front end of my Off-Road. I think their kit is really meant for the SR5 and Sport models. I was/am quite bummed because I've known those guys for many years in the jeep world and their stuff is quite good. In my case, I ended up putting All Dogs front springs on and I'll wait until the aftermarket well and truly catches up with the 4th gen Tacos. How much longer can it be?

Warranty is my biggest concern with a lift so that’s nice to hear. How many hours of labor did they charge and how much was the total cost of the install??? Trying to see what my numbers would look like in WA.
