Infotainment wont disconnect after hanging up phone

Checking if others have this issue also on their Tacomas. When I hang up sometimes (maybe 20% of the time) my phone hangs up but the Infotainment system thinks I am still connected and you can see it on the display with the call timer still counting as though you are still on the phone. The radio comes back on yet I cant make any subsequent calls because the system thinks I am still on a call?

The only way I get it to stop is to disconnect the bluetooth and then turn it back on to reconnect if I want to make another call. This is my only workaround I found, but I asked the service advisor a few weeks ago when I had it in for some work and said Toyota is aware. Doesnt help my issue currently and when are they going to solve it? I read on some other Toyota forums this is also happening with RAVs, Corollas, Camrys etc

I have a Samsung S21 and never had a single issue in my 2019 Taco (replaced by my 2025 Limited)in 6 yrs I had it, nor in my other cars, Acura or Porsche. I called Toyota corporate and all they said is take it to dealer to help. They were no help either.

I am very happy with my new truck overall, but this is just annoying.

I have an S20 and have never had this issue. May want to see if you have any updates available on your phone (and maybe on the infotainment).

Phone is up to date, need to check the infotainment. I was just at the dealer couple weeks ago and will ask if they did any updates.

For the Infotainment updates is this over the air or do you need to see the dealer?

How are you hanging up? Using the phone or the infotainment screen?

I have hung up both ways. 1st I try by hanging up on infotainment, if doesn't hang up then I try on the phone.

It's happen to me a few times about six months ago. It was while using android auto and I ended the call from the Samsung phone and not the touch screen or the steering wheel button. Got fixed when I did a samsung update.

I checked and Infotainment is up to date and same with my phone for software updates.

I rarely use android auto and isn't happening then.

This has happened to me a few times as well. It happened on my s26u and zfold 7. When it hangs on like that I would initiate another call and it would go back to normal.
