Installing a dash cam soon, question on panel removal.

As the title states, I have a couple questions.

I’m installing front and rear cameras, but don’t want to interfere with possible airbag deployment. So I want to run the cable for the rear camera down the pass. A-pillar, through the kick panel and door sills, up the C-pillar and to the camera.

Before my “ham hands” get at any panels, how easy is the A-pillar panel to remove? And once the kick panel and A-pillar are removed, can I run the cable easily down beside the glovebox?

I believe there is also an airbag in the A Pillar so I would be careful in trying to remove the interior trim in that area. A suggestion may be to pull your interior ceiling lights and use a wire snake to pull the wire between the headliner and roof by going from light opening to light opening. This way you avoid any possible airbag issues and the wire would drop down right where you need it at the rear window.

Sounds like a good idea, but I have a sunroof, so it wouldn’t work.

I pulled the neg. on the battery, undid the 2 10mm bolts behind the covers, and there should be room for it. It’s a MUST to pull the battery terminal first though.
