Recently found my TRD OR in premium, the truck is truly awesome! Wondering if anyone knows of a compatible cover for where the JBL flex portable speaker goes? I take out the flex speaker and secure it out of sight when I park the truck out in public. I think leaving the flex speaker in dash is too visible and enticing for thieves.
Looked around and have found nothing so far. What do you all think?, am I being over protective? Thanks

I usually just throw a sweatshirt or something in the cab on it. Maybe a sunhat ir frisbee would look the part better .

It's a POS speaker that nobody would want unless you drive a Tacoma. You can buy a better sounding bluetooth speaker on Amazon for $39.95! I would be alot more worried about the catalytic converter or the whole damn truck getting jacked.

Honestly, its a matter of time before someone comes up with a replacement with better sound and no battery. Permanent install.

I am also ready for a replacement for the dominating crappy sound of an unwanted feature. I think the system sound better if it were stolen.

I feel like the odd man out here. My speaker sounds fine and doesn't overpower anything.

Maybe I have weird ears?

I'm in the thick of smash and grabs. Those guys are looking for something more than that speaker. They'll bust the window for loose change and leave the speaker.

Nope. Your ears are fine. I don’t mind the sound of the system either with or without the Flex installed. Could care less. And, I drive an hour each way to and from work.
People are happier when they have something to bitch about 🤷‍♂️
