My first vehicle was a '92 F-150 Flareside that had a Leer cap on it from the previous owner. First thing I did with that truck was remove it because my super-cool 16 year old self thought they were dorky and intended for old grandpas.

Now I see them on these trucks and think "that's pretty sweet." ... how times have changed.

Looks very sharp. How do the side windows work? I can't find much detail about it other than "One-piece Tip-out Side Windows with Removable Screens"

Do they open all the way or just a couple inches for ventilation?

No, they only open a few inches for ventilation at the rear of the canopy. The screens act much like a screen window in a house where you can just pop them off from the inside.

Any chance you could give me a dimensions of the rear opening, either bed to top of door opening or top of closed tailgate to top of door opening? I've tried getting info from a couple of dealers and not having any luck. I need to be able to put mountain bikes in the back on fork mounts and not sure if I need to go with a mid rise topper to accommodate this use. TIA

It's ~32 & 3/4" vertically from lowest point of the canopy opening to the bed, and ~12 & 1/2" from the lowest point of the canopy opening to the top of the closed truck bed door (measured at the same slope as what the canopy door would be)

I have a 29er mtb I can try loading in later on today and get you some pics, but it'd probably be super tight.
