Super easy DIY install, only need a 17mm socket. Truck did not need to be jacked up or on ramps, factory TRD Sport suspension. Just expect to get a little wet when installing in your driveway after it pours down rain….

Here is the video I made and some pictures.

Are the inside shackle edges beveled to use a soft shackle with out cutting or damage to the shackle?

They look the same as the rest of the Amazon tow hooks, if that's the case, no bevel.
They're all fine as long as you're just using them for looks. I mean $40 v.s. $200 if you are just buying for aesthetics and don't care about supporting US manufacturing. Good savings !

Aluminum? I'd want something I could depend on.

Also looks like beveled inside edges for soft shackles.

What is the tow hook rated to? These seem like they might be more cosmetic than functional.
Not sure what is the rating, as I installed something similar on mine. But I was able to keep the OEM hook on one side. Should i really need to use to pull, I'd favour the OEM.

I also have a set, and can confirm they are rebranded by a bunch of different companies. I like them, but I wouldn't necessarily want to pull from them if the truck was buried to the axles in sticky mud. Not just due to strength but with as far as they sit back it would definitely cause some serious damage to all that bumper plastic.

Mine are aluminum, I trust em

Having worked with quite a bit of aluminum, unless it is a different alloy these would likely have the same strength. The weak point will be its thinnest part which is around the bolt holes. Aluminum doesn't tend to bend, if either OPs or these fail it will be a crack where the bolts go through leaving a chunk of that thin center section behind.

Although these do look much better and the finish on that bevel would but much better on a soft shackle. The red ones have a bevel too but it's still a bit sharp.
