I apologize ahead of time because I am lazy and did not read through everyone else’s responses or posts. I put Dobinsons - Rear Coil
Springs Pair (C59-869V) on my 24TRD Off-road primarily for lift. However, I now have a full size spare tire/rim 95.25 lbs, jack and mount 46 lbs equals about 141.25 lbs constant load and I also have trailhunter skid plates the complete set which total 59 pounds plus Westcott designs rock sliders, which total 106 pounds approximately, not sure how much of that contributes to weigh in the rear, but I’ve not noticed any sag when carrying anything else. Currently I’m sitting at 24 inches from center of wheel hub to bottom of fender flares in the rear with stock strut. Just put on 6100s in the rear yesterday and still sitting at the same height.
Can’t speak for the C59-819V
But Dobinson’s says 25” (30 mm) with roughly 440–660 lb constant load for a trailHunter with that spring.C59-819V
I’d say they’re pretty accurate and the particular spring you’re looking at probably won’t give much. Your constant load is not near the limit for that particular spring so anything above that probably won’t affect it as far as squat goes. That’s been my experience anyways with the springs I have. In other words I’d expect 1-1.5” of lift with the C59-819V
youre giving the specs for the 821, the 819 is actually 175lb-330lb

The other thing they indicate is that the lift may be 1/2-1" less for the Trailhunter over other models.

I can’t remember, are you looking for lift?
No, but i did reach out to the dobson folks and they said: "C59-819V will give you around 0.75"-1" of lift in your Trailhunter with the constant weight you mentioned in your email"

The 819 will be too soft. You should get the 821 or the OME 3320k. Not sure on the other companies springs but something that'll handle heavier constant weight is what you need.

Thanks for the feedback, but i already ordered the 819s. Ill see how it goes, at the very least it should make it a bit better. If i really need to add a bulkier spring later ill just have to go ahead and do that

Bahh ok… it’ll definitely be better than stock with ride height but you may feel it has a lot of bounce. Give us an update after install!

Are you doing the install yourself?

No I wouldn't call myself useless with DYI stuff, but this is a little outside of my wheel house (no pun intended). Found a shop close by that is listed on Dobinsons page as an installer. But the springs are on back order anyway so its going to take a while.

You would think Dobinsons would bring more into the US considering how popular these are. I ordered mine December 1 and they didn't deliver until the beginning of April. I had a local off road shop install for just shy of $600 for front and rear. Since they are on backorder you may be able to change your order if you deem necessary.

Agreed! This is one of the reasons I went with Icon Overland springs. Availability + only 1/2" lift over stock a 600lbs.

I would email [email protected] and inquire on the ETA for the springs. Their customer service was responsive. They couldn't give me an exact date, but indicated that it would be a minimum of three months. Also, not all springs and colors may be on backorder. For me it was the 821s in black, but the front springs were available the entire time.

@DutchOven

I 100% say you should cancel the dobinsons and order the OME 3320k. It’s a super simple install.

Lift the rear, both sides. Unbolt the lower shock. Disconnect sway bar and brake lines. Jack one wheel hub, slide the old spring out and new one in. Same thing on the other side! Easy peasy. May need a pry bar to get the second one in as easily but oh well. Do what you’re comfortable with :)
