Thanks for sharing!
I'm sure there's a good reason, but why won't you build a raw aluminum plate for someone if your skids are made in-house to order ? I love your stuff btw!
In the Midwest (road salt,) raw aluminum will oxidize and start to look gross. It oxidizes elsewhere, but it doesn't get broken down and pitted as bad as it seems to here.

I've been rocking the Greenlane skid plates and they are excellent. The attention to detail and quality of production is phenomenal. The install took about 45mins with basic hand tools in my garage. I'm in Canada so getting them was a bit easier with all the border business going on.

I ended up OEM mainly because I got the Landcruiser skid at such a good price. Had been looking at Victory since I bought the truck, but they couldn't do one in raw aluminum which is what I wanted if I went with an aluminum skid. I did look at Greenlane being that I'm right across the border! They look really nice. Glad you're enjoying them.

For anybody shopping for a large OEM part. I got my wheels and my skid plate for almost 50% off. Both Fred Anderson Toyota and Apex Hendricks Toyota online parts accept this coupon code I found on top of their already discounted prices. As of today it still works, but only for a single order and you have to be logged in to your Toyota account. Wouldn't be surprised if Toyota stops it soon, but here it is:

Shoot I know! Front skid and transfer skid... $438. Feels like I shouldn't pass it up at that price. Especially since that code can only be used once
This is how I did it. I went with both skids and the trailhunter sliders or whatever they're called, plus a set of the rear tow hooks. Sort of wish I went with a set of beefier steel sliders but oh well. I think it was $1300 with free local pickup at dealer. Great deal when those codes stack.

Have you ended up finding the transfer case skid useful ? Or just a peace of mind purchase ?

Heyaaaah looks awesome ! I am amped.
Did you do the transfer case skid ? I really wanted to just because I was getting such a discount, but realistically wasn't sure if ever use it. Trying to control myself šŸ˜‚ Looked like a pretty sweet setup though.

Nah, I did not. Same boat, realistically, I don’t think I’d need it. If it becomes a serious trail rig then I’d prob would, but that’s not in the budget. I got the OEM red hoops instead of the trans-skid lol.

It looks like there are no access points for oil plug and filter? That’s why I went with Miller Cat for skid and transfer case protection.

The way they cut these two mount holes makes it a one person job to mount and dismount the shield. You remove the other bolts and only slightly loosen these two. It then twists off.

No stand or second person needed to hold it in place while you mess with the bolts.
