Just thought I’d share some lighting upgrades I made recently, using 4 Rigid scene lights (SKU: 86610). I used t-slot nuts and bolted these directly to the channel of my IBEX rack, and ran wiring on each side. Took a note from Diode Dynamics’ bed scene lighting kit, and tapped right into the existing bed lighting wiring using t-splice connectors. The lights pull hardly any amperage (0.75 each), so not really concerned about overloading the circuit/wiring. They throw 1100 lumens per light, so pretty decent upgrade overall. I scored most of these brand new locally on FB Marketplace for minimal investment. Wiring, heat shrink, connectors and t-slot nuts purchased from Amazon.

The additional lighting makes quite the difference and has been helpful accessing the bed at night. I also appreciate that they come on when I unlock the truck (as I have the scene lights set to come on with door open and truck unlock), so gives off a very pronounced and dominant feel.

Beautiful install. Great work tying into the bed lighting. I am thinking of doing the same for my SmartCap now. Great job and thanks for the post!
