Hi everyone,

We’re excited to share that we’re currently developing A-pillar grab handles specifically for the 4th Gen Toyota Tacoma!

We’ve noticed that many owners find it a bit challenging to get in and out of the new Tacoma, especially after lifting the truck or adding bigger tires. These grab handles aim to greatly improve ease of entry and exit, providing better support and comfort without interfering with airbags or trim aesthetics.

Before finalizing the design, we’d love to hear from you:

  • Have you felt the need for A-pillar handles in your 4th Gen Tacoma?
  • What kind of design or materials would you prefer (OEM-style, off-road rugged, leather-wrapped, etc.)?
  • Do you have concerns about installation, fitment, or compatibility with airbags or trim?
  • Any other features you'd love to see included?
  • And one more thing — what would be a fair price range you’d be comfortable paying for a high-quality A-pillar grab handle kit?

Your feedback will directly influence our final product, so feel free to be honest and detailed!

We’ll be offering early product photos and perhaps even a few beta test opportunities for forum members ?

Thanks for your time and input!

Agreed, won't buy unless you can fit your hand inside and actually grab, not pinch.

And you have to offer a passenger side, because they have to match.

Still patiently waiting for a run of these without the speaker. I have been commenting on threads asking for a year now.

For those asking for a variation of what is currently being offered, have you actually tried using the passenger handle?

First, you can't see it and have to feel around for it or stick your head inside. Two, usually you would grab an assist handle with your outside arm and use your inside hand/arm to help you onto the seat. Using your inside arm gives you poor leverage.

If you're currently using your steering wheel to help you in, are you grabbing it with your right hand or left?

It's a poor design from Toyota and a perfect opportunity for the aftermarket to improve but instead they copied the poor design.

If I am grabbing the steering wheel to get in, I use my right hand. Though honestly, the seat is right about butt height as the truck sits now (stock TRD offroad with 33's) so I don't really see the need for a handle.
