Stickers peeling off tonneau cover

I've been using the last portion of my tonneau cover as a slap sticker surface, and unfortunately a lot of them seem to be peeling off of the fiberglass surface. How can I get them to stay? Can I apply a sheet of vinyl underneath and then put my stickers all on? I like the idea of putting the stickers here because it's low key but they'll show up when we're tailgating
If anyone has a good cleaner or glue suggestion I'm down for that as well

Had this issue as well, i did pull the “ Avis warning stickers off , but i lost some good stickers also

I ended up throwing mine on some crates I take camping, or on my cooler. I’ve seen some people put them on their skis, and that looks like a kind of novel idea
