Recently we bought this Taco for my Son and got a great deal over the 4th. We found a bare bones TRD Xtracab 2wd like a rare jew in an off lot locally. Did a boat load of research and found loads of misinformation so we added our own mods. Here is our start.

Actually my son thought the 4g looked stupid as fuk and ordered these from GH. I think they look great. But thanks for the whatever your comment was. Lol. Oh doesnt have fog lights either you ok with that?

Isn't it FAF fools that own the latest Taco think the previous gen is trash and same for the fools who own the previous gen

I like the stickers... At least it looks different than everyone else's... Plus I've alway thought mine look crooked ... Love the setup so far!... Tire size? Did those off road rims come on the truck?

Working on my Daughter's we found struts either after market or OE can cross fit with no issue even those with rear coils (just not the iforce max the dam thing weighs 6500#). My brothers coil truck sags big time with only about 500#, Son's leaf doesn. Headed ro Devaer in 3 weeks. We found UCAs are the same. Wheel OS and BS on tire fitment wrong aka the great tire stuff debate. On my Son's we ran 275 17s and he can get full droop and tuck.. 16s would be optimal tire side wall is better but will not clear calipers As soon as fenders are available we plan on swapping and doing a full supercharger (mk3) but the motor will be built. Its slow go for now because the truck is so new but we will get there. These 4gs are very limited

Whats crazy about the "bros" comment up top is the 2026 went back to the 2023 decals he just doesnt know it yet.

Wheels: No when he bought it he purchased it with stel wheels cause it was about 3500 cheaper, he bought these for 300 bucks. For some reason the owner of this dealer ordered it TRD 2wd base salesman said he was going to build 2 for the show room, we got 1. My kid likes the OE look so it won't be flashy.

My Uncle use to own North West Racing before he sold (as seen in Dust to Glory yellow rail in the silt) so we will see how far we can take this thing.

What is "GH"? Asking because I too really don't like the 4thGen TRD sticker and want to replace it.

I'm a little confused about this. So it's an Xtra cab SR with TRD OR wheels and an applied previous gen TRD OR badge? The unpainted rear bumper tells me it is not a TRD. And by the looks of the Toyota website, the Xtra cab is only available in TRD Pre Runner.

Yep, it's an SR. Not a TRD Prerunner. The unpainted rear bumper is a dead giveaway, along with the lack of fog lights.
