Got you on a technicality - I'm sure lots of people are driving 75 mph, and that's not really ticket territory.

Maybe you can get the tires road force balanced - that would allow them to simulate the problem speed. If the tires are fine, then it pretty much has to be the truck.

Good luck.
Exactly what they did in the visit. Because they won't drive it, they threw up their hands and said "Sorry". Seems pretty sleaze ballish.

I know that there are dealer training events. Maybe they spend most of their time learning how to blow off their customers.

I have a good dealer at the moment, and they really want to make their customers happy. But most Toyota dealers I have dealt with in the past don't want to do anything beyond the minimum they can get away with.

I have a 23 TRD OffRoad - With 6000 miles on it I took it in for the shudder and they found out the drive shaft was out of balance. They replaced the drive shaft and the rear wheel bearings in it.

I have a stock 2025 TRD OR with a 6ft bed and only 800 miles on it and am experiencing vibration issues around 25-35mph. It's not very noticeable when you accelerate past 35mph but when driving at a constant speed in that range it can be very annoying. It feels like something is reaching a natural frequency and inducing a vibration (tires, cv joints, driveshaft, etc). When slowing down to a stop it's also noticeable. I took it in today and the dealer drove my truck and another Tacoma (without me) and claimed that vibration is normal as the other Tacoma did it as well. I hopped in an SR5 with the service manager and we were unable to detect the same issue. The dealer did nothing other than a test drive of my truck and another truck. I am taking it back next week and dropping it off for an extended diagnosis and they stated they would open up a complaint with Toyota.

Same issue from other forums.

I hope this helps. I have a 2025 Off Road 6ft bed that has only 700 miles on it. I took it to the dealer last week and had them road force balance my tires. They found out that my two rear tires were out of whack and didn’t even want to road force balance them after having them replaced under warranty. The two existing front tires and the two new rear tires were road balanced, and it rides like a dream. Definitely have them check it out. I would say it’s tires for sure.

Thanks for the tip. I'll see if I can get them to road force balance to see if the tires are jacked.

Did you have a similar issue in a certain speed range?

Yes, I felt mine when starting from a stop until about 30. Then it’d smooth out a little, not much. Then I would get to 60 and it would vibrate and shudder. I could feel it in the seat the whole time. It was just worse at times than others. Keep in mind that with our off-roads, the shocks are stiffer, and I can definitely feel more bumps, etc., than what I felt in my 24 SR5. But overall, I’m pleased with the off-road and I’m loving the 6ft bed. And having the rear tires replaced and all four road forced balanced seemed to fix the issue, thankfully. Keep me updated. I’m curious to see if yours ends up being the same thing. Hopefully so, and it’ll be an easy fix. Best of luck to you.

Out of spec on a new truck? Were you having vibrations?

new tires i always do a alignment anyway
but now there in no feeling in the steering wheel now
