Toyota iPhone app keeps logging me out

My app keeps logging me out. This makes my engine start shortcut worthless. Not to mention using the app as my key. Is there a trick to staying logged in?

Not sure if you're on Android but I find occasionally I have to nuke the apps data

>Settings>Apps>Toyota>Clear all data

Then login and it should work for a while.

The app is not great. I've had the same issue and tried looking for a solution since I used shortcuts on iphone to start my truck in the winter. I resorted to using the app once a day to make sure I was logged in and using my shortcut when I start it later in the day.

Same here. I’ve been logged out twice this week. App is not a viable option as an electronic key.

I was wondering if it had something to do with an Apple security update… Mine started doing it about a week ago and my wife’s Hyundai app also asking for sign in and password info

No issues here... ever. It could be a problem on the phone side.

I’ve not made any changes to the phone and my Tesla app has no problems so I don’t think it’s a new security setting from Apple. I’m hoping it is the Toyota app update from 9/4 and the next one fixes this issue. In its current state this app is only good as an emergency key.

same. And I've NEVER been able to download a digital key. Sub is worthless. Going to cancel.

I don’t know if this is the same issue but I got this notice in the app yesterday. There may be a communication issue with the phone

I’m afflicted … daily sign in required, no love from FaceID.

My issue is on iPhone, perhaps since full IOS26 update 2 days back. Have been running the beta for a couple months with no issue.

please chime in if you have similar issue or better yet if you have found a solution.

Call them and they will walk you through it. I don’t have the 800 number handy but it should be in the app. Mine was giving me problems setting it up and I have no patience. The rep was very knowledgeable and took care of my problem very quickly.

The phone key and app is worthless. There's been countless times i'd have to hit the start button 20-30 times to get it started. And the app logs me out almost daily. I pay the subscription.

Using it as a Bluetooth key used to be spotty at best. It was never in the foreground and always had to be re opened for it to work. Using it as a key to start was even less reliable. But now with it logging me out all the time it’s even less usable.

To be clear, I am able to drive with it and touch handle unlock/lock with it. So it’s not a matter of pairing either the phone or app to truck. At least not in my situation.

Thanks to all for your suggestions and experiences with this app. Guess I’m not alone in my experiences with it.
