I had an Ioniq 5 before my last truck (2006 V8 f150) and honestly when I drove the SR5 home I was like "This thing is as quiet as an EV when you're cruising!"FWIW I've had mine on for a few weeks now (OEM Trail Pipe) after having the stock exhaust on for more than 20,000 miles and I haven't noticed any change in exhaust fumes entering the cab. The noise I noticed, but I'm not bothered by it. It's not significant enough to outweigh the additional clearance you get by ditching the stock exhaust. Gotta get a Rolls Royce if a whisper quiet interior is what you're after ;)
Also for anyone wondering, you can manipulate the stock exhaust out from under the truck once it's disconnected without having to raise the truck. It was a little tricky though.
I could see how you don't have to lift the truck! I have a jack so just unbolted stock, lifted from the rear, pulled it out, lowered, put the dump on. 10-15 min total. Easy as heck. I might order another one since I sold my Cobb and OEM is $80 right now, give it more than 24 hrs to see if I made a rash decision by taking it off immediately. I want the pro section, but even with the discount it's $500. Would probably be cheaper to have an exhaust shop cut and weld. I saw a guy who did that! Will post a photo when I find it.
