There's a guy near me I see all the time cruising around in a new XtraCab with a 6 ft bed and a matching topper and every time I see it I'm blown away with how good that combination looks. Don't get me wrong, I love my dual cab, but damn this looks good in person!! Am I alone here? This isn't the truck in question but a photo of one I found. If you have one, all the bragging rights to you!

No matching topper here, but it’s definitely been the right trim choice. Got mine for the utility/functionality fit rather than the looks, but really do think the XCs are well proportioned and look good. Since we didn’t need the back seats, but did need a 6’ bed, the xtracab made the most sense. If weather-related challenges were part of the equation, would have purchased a 4WD XC SR5, but that not being the case, really liking everything about the Prerunner and feeling like the RWD + RLD would be sufficient, pulled the trigger on this one and never looked back——very happy that Toyota decided to bring them back after not having been available since the 2015 model year.

Best truck in the lineup if they made it a 4x4

Probably my 4th or 5th new Tacoma since the late 80's. My wish is they get rid of all the safety crap and make the manual transmission available in the 2-door line up. I now have a start-up routine, turn off start-stop BS, turn off the PCS or whatever it's called and set cruise control to non-adaptive.

Awesome truck! I'm loving these.

One of the reasons I got the SR5 with a lower optioned SR5 is so I don't have all the crap. I just like a knob and bars to measure my heat, not that individual climate control stuff lol and the auto stop/start thing always pisses me off when I forget to turn it off on my wife's jeep.

I have come to love adaptive cruise control though, I will say that.
