Will it fit without rubbing and modification

I went to America’s tire because I wanted to see the Nitto Terra Grabber G3 and Toyo OC AT3 EV tires in person. I talked with them about the tire’s fitment on the Methods I recently bought.

Wheels: Methods 316 18 x9 6x139.7 + 18.
Tires: 275 70R 18.

Basically, they said that tire size is in their red zone for potential rubbing and they recommend 275 65 R18.

Does anyone know for sure? Is there a site I can put in these specs and get a go/no go Before wasting money having them install tires that won’t fit without rubbing or modifications?

I have Michelin LTXs 275/70/18s (On stock TRD Sport wheels — with the 55 offset) and it is NOWHERE near rubbing anywhere on the front on stock suspension. Not sure how true the ones you are to size but mine are 33.2” and it fits GREAT.

Thanks, that’s good the hear. It sounds like only my offset +18 is different from your setup. I’m going to a Indy shop this morning and the owner wanted to manually measure clearances and will then advise on what he thinks will fit. I’m hoping I can truly fit the 275 as it’s the height and size that I think looks best.

Thanks, I had a local tire shop test fit a 275/70/18 with a tire they have on hand and it’s just barely squeezes in. The tire i want is .15 wider than the tire they measured with. Probably will work. we’ll know when the tires arrive. I ordered Method’s lugs yesterday.
