How are you all wiring power for an onboard air compressor? Using the Aux switches/ wiring harnesses isn’t possible as they are only rated for a few amps only when for example a dual ARB pulls around 30amps.

Did you mount that inside the bed space, behind that plate below the outlet box?Wired to battery. Use AUX 3 to turn on.

Thanks for posting. I was thinking of a similar reel install. What mounting bracket did you use specifically?Wired to battery. Use AUX 3 to turn on.

You use the aux1 harness to power? What is the relay switch for?I use AUX 1 and a relay switch for my single ARB. Easy peasy.![]()
So... the Aux1 turns the relay switch on and off, which supplies power to the compressor directly from the battery. You use the aux1 harness to power? What is the relay switch for?
Gotcha! I have a hybrid so need to find a way to run wiring to the battery under the backseatSo... the Aux1 turns the relay switch on and off, which supplies power to the compressor directly from the battery.
Don't they have a hot stud on the fuse box under the hood?I have a hybrid so need to find a way to run wiring to the battery under the backseat
There is indeed but I don’t feel that is the right place to permanently hook up an accessory that draws 30-40amps.Don't they have a hot stud on the fuse box under the hood?
That's a ton. Good idea. There is indeed but I don’t feel that is the right place
Stock ARB Brushless mount and an aluminum plate on the backside. Thanks for posting. I was thinking of a similar reel install. What mounting bracket did you use specifically?
