Hey guys, I foolishly bumped a power washer nozzle right into my paint and it chipped out a piece of paint to the bare metal. I seem to be stacking up bone headed accidents.

I have the OEM touch up paint but in my prior experience … it just runs like soup down the side of the truck. It’s so thin and watery. Any suggestions for a decent repair? Doesn’t need to be perfect, but I would just like it to be not super noticeable.

Yes its small enough. Take your time and maybe even use several coats allowing dry time between. I scraped my bumper about the size of a dime and had no problem touching it up.

I've got a couple of one inch long scratches/gouges. Would the 1/2 oz size $25.95 be enough for these?

This goes back a ways but my recollection of the recommended way to do this was:
1. Thin the paint if it is not already thin.
2. Clean the area and make sure that there is no more loose paint. Don't sand it smooth.
3. Take a paper match (see how old the instructions are😊) and use the torn end as a brush.
4. Dab the paint around the broken edges and apply a very thin coat.
5. Allow to dry.
6. Repeat steps 4 and 5 until the chip is filled in.
