wow, this is great, i'm very tempted to go your route. funny i've got a bronze oxide also, sxth intake, magnaflow on the tail, working on a custom downpipe, and seeing you post the numbers with the upgraded IC might be able to push somewhere close to what you're getting. I've been wanting to do a custom tune in the near future. thats pretty much next on my mod list.

I've jus glanced at setup earlier, but will check it out in more detail. Great stuff

So I am from back in the day when you had an electronic or manual boost controller. I ran megasquirt which at the time was pretty great and quite fun.

I know these days it isn't as simple as just dialing in 20psi on your MBC and setting your fuel and timing tables. Yet these significant gains must come at a cost of increased boost pressure, right? What are you seeing for peak boost pressure over stock configuration?

I'm back from those days too! The Greddy Profec B was high tech.

We do increase the boost on these via the ECU, and it's increased from 3-5psi over stock.

Thanks for the info. I am on the fence between COBB Accessport and just waiting and hoping that HPTuners eventually supports the 4G on their MPVI4 unit. I'd really like to be able to tweak on my own.

What’s your opinion about the 2.4 open deck design? Will it hold up to that much more power, without blowing head gaskets?

It’s hard to say what they will tolerate. At this power level I'm not even a little bit concerned. Cylinder pressure takes out head gaskets so we aren’t pushing boost hard running as much spark advance as possible at peak torque. Getting greedy at low rpm with timing usually lifts heads.
We are going to be pushing my development truck much further than this with larger turbo and more upgrades.

Is that 338whp with intake and intercooler? Based on your datalogs, what would you say is the next bottleneck?

We dont have easy access to ethanol here in Hawaii. I would love to see tuning support for methanol injection. Any idea when Cobb will be releasing an Accessport for the Hybrids?

I think the turbo is becoming a limiter, at least at my elevation. I've tuned loads of water/meth injection kits going back to 2007, so if that's something you'd like to do, I can support it. Hybrid support is already operational, dyno tuning was going on last week, and they're going to need to apply for a separate EO for emissions. Won't be long now!
