I installed the @Wolfbox 840S today.

I have been looking for a solution for a rear camera since I put the dirtcom trail swing in which completely blocks the rear camera. A member here used a second OEM camera and harness, but that isn't cheap. The one relocation harness I found available is over $200, but this was only $129 and comes with a dash cam.

Nice clean install. Ran the power cable down the passenger side A pillar, under the carpet, up to the cigarette lighter. Ran the rear camera wire down the drivers side a pillar and through the grommet under the rear seat on the driver's side and along the frame with a few zip ties along the way. Protected it under the bed with some wiring loom. The 20' stock cable barely made it, but it did! Just enough room for some play with my tire carrier. Glad it did because the next step up is 33' and I didn't want all that extra wire underneath.

I mounted the camera between my license plate and license plate bracket. It's pretty secure, but put a strip of 3m double sided adhesive on the camera bracket just for good measure.

I haven't wired the reverse wire (to kick the camera into reverse mode when you back up) and didn't put the GPS in yet. Undecided about that.

Anyways, it's a good, inexpensive solution for me.

Cheers

Looks good! Some unsolicited tips (and maybe helpful for others that find your thread)...

If you ever go the OEM bracket route, order the #190, not the widely available #1. Reason being is that #1 reduces the ability to use the mirror as a true mirror as you run out of room quickly for adjustment.

Secondly, Range Industries sells a more "stout" plate that connects said OEM bracket to the mirror and essentially reduces vibration and wobble to zero.

Love mine! Works great on my rack since my OEM camera is blocked. I'd replace the mirror but my garage door button is on the mirror so I'll keep it for now. Also never had any issues with mine!

I'll be in the market for one soon. Not for my Taco, but for my old International. I've also been considering adding one to my Plymouth. I like that it doesn't require a giant hole cut in the dash of some of the classic cars.

8” Xtrusion Overland XBRS. Fits great with the tonneau cover. You don’t have a ton of height to work with but it rolls up just fine. Only issue I had with this particular one is the paint peeling on the bed mount brackets but they sent me new ones.

How did you power the Wolfbox mirror?
I’ll jump in. Wife has Wolfbox’s mirror and 270° camera set up in a Subaru, a recent installation. She is powering it with the Dongar classic adapter. Hardwiring might be better, but the Dongar has worked well.

In our Trailhunter, I am powering a Type S dash cam that has two cameras (front and rear facing) with Dongar Pro. Works well.
