  1. I'm hearing apparently they added front tow hooks for 2025 to all models, is this something that can be upgraded

Strange - I am pretty sure the bolts for my tie downs were 17 mm heads. Maybe doing a whole new home theater setup and several other jobs at the same time has melted my mind! lol
  2. Carista app, what have you done??

@Deedzterz Good info - thanks. I completely missed being able to individually change the speaker volumes when I used my Carista. Which speakers are 3-8?
  3. Camber issue on 2024 TRD Pro suspension?

Yeah - I think negative camber is a red flag.
  4. Camber issue on 2024 TRD Pro suspension?

I don't remember the exact specs but I think some positive camber is normal. But it sounds like you have negative camber, and I would definitely get it aligned.
  5. I'm hearing apparently they added front tow hooks for 2025 to all models, is this something that can be upgraded

The hooks that come on all Tacomas are really tie downs primarily intended for securing the trucks during shipping. So they are not really intended for recovery, but they are still the best option for a place to hook onto your frame when needed. The Toyota tow hooks are extremely heavy forged...
  6. Hood Part Number (of 2024 Tacoma TRD Sport)?

It would not be normal Toyota practice for those badges to come with the hood, since it is used in various trims. I considered taking the Pro hood badge off of my truck but ended up leaving it on, so going without that huge badge on a Sport is a great choice IMO.
  7. I'm hearing apparently they added front tow hooks for 2025 to all models, is this something that can be upgraded

That is where I got mine too - $122 plus shipping. I put them on this morning. They fit where the stock tie downs are mounted, so I assume that they will fit on any trim.
  8. Camber issue on 2024 TRD Pro suspension?

I saw the specs on another thread, but I haven't found it yet. I will post if I turn them up.
  9. Hood Part Number (of 2024 Tacoma TRD Sport)?

Is the difference between the Pro and Sport scoop just the color?
  10. Utah Rocker Protector - Toyota (PT925-35242)

No, I sold the rocker protectors to a friend.
  11. ARB Soft Shackle - Save a $

OK - here are some pics. The tie down torque was very F'ing tight on the passenger side, and a little less tight on the drivers side. I used as tight as I could get them with a 1/2" drive socket.
  12. ARB Soft Shackle - Save a $

Yeah - I was surprised at how much the rear ones cost -some very expensive bling!
  13. ARB Soft Shackle - Save a $

Right now it is looking like it is in the box it came in - just got them a couple of hours ago. lol I always thought it should have had them both front and rear though, so I had to get them. Pictures coming soon...
  14. ARB Soft Shackle - Save a $

Flame throwers - yeah, we get those. lol I agree with tight is tight, and I promise they will be tight when I get them on there. My problem is snapping the heads off of bolts sometimes, and that it too tight. Maybe I should just use 3/8" sockets and leave the 1/2" bolt breakers in the tool...
  15. ARB Soft Shackle - Save a $

I just got my new recovery points - definitely some nice bling for the front of my truck. Does anyone have a torque value for the bolts that hold them on?
  16. JBL sound system low volume out of the door speakers

I agree with @Biggs1975 on the Beat Sonic amp. I have had that amp for a month now and have listened to more of my music and I am liking it more than I did at first. It lets you push the soundfield back and recover the lost volume to have a better soundfield and still have adequate sound levels...
  17. 2024 TRD OR Premium OR TRD OR Hybrid?

Same here. The power of the hybrid comes on in all the right places and it makes the hybrid trucks a lot of fun to drive.
  18. 2024 TRD OR Premium OR TRD OR Hybrid?

Tacoma hybrids are too new to really know how long the batteries will last. But I do know that most Prius batteries are lasting far longer than the warranty, sometimes by a factor of 2 or even 3 times.
  19. OEM mudflaps. Canada vs US.

It is hard to understand why that distance would vary so much, unless the Pro and TH front suspensions are more different than I thought.
  20. OEM mudflaps. Canada vs US.

The closest the tread on my tires ever gets to the flap is just under one inch. The first pic is full lock, where the outer corner of the tread approaches the inside of the flap, which is the 1" clearance. The second pic is partial lock, where the tread approaches that thickest part of the...
