The merits or disadvantages of tariffs should not be the point on a truck forum, just how it affects Tacomas.
Wow - are you saying 4th gens are low priced? After all that is what this thread is about, how a 25% tariff will affect Tacomas.
If so, that is the very first time I have heard anyone suggest that. Everytime I visit YouTube I am told how overpriced they are. lol
I have used that product before and it did a great job of removing scratches.
Before and after pics would be helpful.
That reminds me that I need to order screen protectors for that and my center display.
It sounds like you are fine, but I think that at some point Toyota will raise prices and future buyers will be paying more. It's hard to say how much more, but price increases are certain, because I don't expect Toyota to cover this, but for it to be passed on to buyers. I guess we won't know...
I've had my truck 6 months now and that happened to me on only one day when it disconnected over and over again. I have no idea why that happened and it has not done it since.
To make getting CarPlay back easier you can do it with a voice command, "hey Toyota launch Apple CarPlay". If the reply...
We really don't know how this is going to shake out yet. Some auto analysts say that the costs from the Mexican tariffs will be spread out over a car maker's whole lineup, no matter where they were made. If that is true then there will be increases on Tacomas but not as large as 25%. But cars...
Totally agree!
Yesterday I spent several hours driving my truck and listened to some favorite music for the first time since installing the Beat Sonic amp. Being really familiar with these albums let me make a good comparison and the sound is improved a lot. I heard some clear highs and voices...
The narrower of the two Canadian flaps probably line up with the flairs on the Sport, and the wider ones line up with TH and Pro. At least that would be my guess because AFAIK Toyota hasn't really said anything about that.
I don't see a problem with them being wider though, it just means better...
The halos have a different design, and I don't think any have failed yet.
But seeing this on any Tacoma trim is an amazing fail for an engineering powerhouse like Toyota.
Yes - definitely get that Ikon top plate. If Toyota won't take care of us, I guess we'll just have to take care of ourselves.
Pretty lame for a truck known as an off road star.
Yeah - I agree with @SnowmanJPS - fab some for us to buy - even those of us stuck in the land to your south would go for those. You know, just a gift from a friend up north that I like so much that I sent you some money as a gift. lol
Thanks for the pics - those look great. I am a big fan of Weathertech products and looking forward to hearing how they do.
That 2nd picture shows just how pathetic the OEM ones that came on our trucks are.
Yeah, my truck's on road behavior is amazing. I like firm, tight handling and to me this truck is just about perfect. I came out of a Tundra which felt like a boat in comparison. This is the first truck I have owned that feels as good on the highway as a nice car does.
That surge is strange and not something I have ever had in my truck. The only difference in the LC is the full time 4WD, so not sure why it did that. I like the LC but my wife has an SUV and I wanted a truck, so my choice was easy.
You can turn off the fake engine noise with an OBD2 device or the dealer can do it for you. I turned it off in my truck and I didn't really like the real noise all that much, so I turned it back on. I don't care if it is real or fake, just that it has a decent engine sound.
The LC300 is so...
My truck has a very slight shake just behind the hood scoop, but nothing like what you are seeing. Definitely nothing close to 1.5 inches!
I know a dealer might blow this off, but I would at least see what they have to say.
