Looking for ideas on where to buy or fabricate a screen for the air intake of my cabin filter. Looking for the dimensions for a owner fabricated screen and perhaps installation ideas.

Do you know where the intake is? I've looked and can't find it.a screen for the air intake of my cabin filter.
I believe it is on the passenger side under the hood and under the cover just below the wipers. There are some youtube videos showing the location. I was hoping to try to get the size of the hole from someone who has made this mode as there is the potential to fabricate a screen and drop it in without too much disassembly.Do you know where the intake is? I was looking for sizing and wondering if there was some kind of aftermarket screen cover I could purchaseAny home improvement store should have a type of mesh screen or chicken wire.
Thanks. I'll take a look at it. Perhaps I could cut some 3/8" hardware cloth and hot glue it in place.I believe it is on the passenger side under the hood and under the cover just below the wipers.

You're chasing a problem that doesn't exist. Mice need a 5/8" diameter hole.

Well, they aren't coming through that grid.
As I said, they aren't going to get through that screen. How they got in with the link you've shown, is a mystery. I had the issue with my third-gen, and there was lots of room for a mouse to squeeze through.Facebook link of a mouse nest on a cabin filter of a 4th generation Tacoma.
