Hey everyone, I recently replaced my Kenda Klever r/t 285 70r17 with Kenda Klever at3 25575r17 and so far I like the results. ~15lb/tire lighter and better road handling. The Kendas seem to be great tires and kind of a sleeper brand. The listed dimensions are 32x10 but what I've found is that the contact patch is more like 30.5x8" at 35psi. Is it common for tires to be this different from factory specified dimensions?

I'm curious what others running this size have for actual dimensions. Could y'all chime in with brand and actual dimensions?
Thanks!

I would guess because listed dimensions are usually measured at max psi ?
Looks good though!

If you’re measuring by putting a measuring tape up against them, that is an inconclusive way of measuring tires. If you’re measuring the actual circumference of the tire and back calculating it, then it’s probably accurate.

A 255/75R17 is a nominal 32.1” and the actual dimensions of most are about 31.1”. That is how most tires are. To be half inch short beyond that wouldn’t be unheard of either.

Thanks for that info! I had no idea but it makes sense.

I changed from 28570R17 SL Falkens to 25575r17 C Dueler AT Ascent. The Falken tires had about 20K miles on them and had gotten loud in the cab. I have the TRD 2.5-inch lift for anyone on the fence about this size tire with a lift.

255/75/17 is the size I'll be going with as well. KO3 C load.
Install next weekend on stock 25 PreRunner.

Looks great! What’s the width and offset of those wheels? I’m currently running 255/75r17 on stock and looking to upgrade without too much poke.

I know that it's a 35mm offset. Width I think is 8.5. They are the Method bead grip 703.
