'26 Limited seat issue

Hi folks. I have a '26 Limited. I was reading a thread about seats having a 'clunk' in '24-'25 TRD Pro models. ISO dynamic seats were mentioned.

Our seats are full power, heated & ventilated, with inflatable lumbar bladder. Nothing in the owner's manual mentions ISO dynamic seats.

We are experiencing the same clunk as the above mentioned thread discusses. Service techs at the dealer claim they do not notice their back being thumped during acceleration, deceleration, and turning many times each mile.

Are my Limited seats the same as the ISO dynamic seats in TRDs? Does anyone else with a Limited have the same issue? Thanks in advance.

I get it too in my 25 off road. It's not just the ISO seats.

I had the same issue on my 24 SR5 it drove me crazy!!! Found lower lumbar support in seat needed to be replace some how it came loose. Had it replaced no more thumping in my back.

My '24 off road has been to the dealer multiple times with the seat out and even replaced the lumbar support bracket as it was actually broken. It's not as much of a thump as it is creaking. Another forum member suggested sticking some foam between the rods and plastic bracket, but I have yet to do that. It's happened on a handful of people.

That’s disappointing for a Limited trim. Is it a mechanical squeak or something with the material? Hope you get it sorted under warranty quickly—keep us posted on what the dealer says!

Yes, very disappointing. No squeak as some report. It is a physical, barely audible thump.

I get this on my 25 TRD Sport with the heated/ventilated seats. Very annoying.

I occasionally get a pop from the middle of the seat, but I keep the lumbar thing deflated, seems to be in the wrong position anyways lol needs to be lower.

I had somewhat of a similar problem. I have the basic seats but when I took it to the dealer they actually found something wrong with the frame of the seat itself. Felt a little thump but also the seat was slightly leaning towards the center console as well.
