I have been eyeing these for a while and saw they were on sale right now. However got confused when I saw an option for a converter.

When I inquired about how to know if I need the converter....I'm pretty sure there are no 4th gen Tacomas with LED reflector headlights. I thought they were all projectors. I got the following answer from their support:

"Thank you for contacting AlphaRex USA. These fog lights are direct fit for 24-25 Toyota Tacoma without Rigid fog lights."

Therefore I believe that you need the converter on the higher level trims (TRD Pro and Trailhunter) that come with Rigid brand fog lights and the other trims do not need the converter since they do not have Rigid brand fog lights.

Just figured I'd toss my idea out there since there did not seem to be any resolution to this question here. I think I'm going to order a set without the converter for my TRD OR.

Is it true plug and play like the OEM housing?
I have a set of yotatribe fogs and it has brackets that I need to add and adjust but the fit and finish is just bad.

Yep true plug and play, and you’d be hard pressed to tell the difference vs OEM. If you’re looking for something significantly brighter look elsewhere, these are brighter but not a lot.

Thanks already ordered to take advantage of BF deals. I’m not looking to blind people but I want the amber lights to help with bad weather.

So I think I did it wrong 🤣. @MT-Taco how did you adjust them? Seems to me the bumper cover has to come or I missed something given how high they are. I didn’t see anything obvious to adjust them.

No need to remove the bumper cover. You’ll need a long Phillips screw driver and a good light to see where the adjustment screw is at.

I thought there had to be a way! I’ll look harder tomorrow.
