Alu-Cab Contour Canopy on Trailhunter - No Regrets

Just got my Alu-Cab Contour installed yesterday. Mule did a phenomenal job. Very professional and thorough. Working with another company on adding an additional rear view camera so I don’t lose the functionality of the rear view mirror.

If you’re on the fence about pulling the trigger on one of these, just do it. You’ll be glad you did. Hands down the best bed canopy on the market. They have a special where you get a $500 credit on accessories.

Gonna have to cool down on the build, as my fiance might “un-fiance” me if I keep buying more truck stuff.

Was looking into them or smartcap. I do like the idea I'd enclosing the bed for all my gear. Would it be amd easy uninstall if I needed to take it off?

I have had mine on since January.. I opted for no side windows.. Looked into SmartCap but heard too much from owners about leaking.. Only problem I have is how to seal up the tailgate area on truck so dust doesnt get in.. I tried before 5 weeks trip out west form TN, but still got dust in the back side.. Everything else is great..
I had my Rear Camera moved to the back of the Canopy.. Only problem I have had so far is when it gets hot, the camera starts glitching.. Have the GG conversion..

yeah that’s the next step but I’m going to buy an additional camera instead of removing the OEM one in case I wanna take the cap off

Got mine installed today as well - same location and I agree… this cap is awesome! I’ve a minor issue with a trim piece that I’m sure will be easily resolved. The guys at Mule are pretty great.

So far so good. Love the stability of this cap. Keys aren’t the easiest to use and wish the back glass opened higher so I don’t hit my head.

I saw a post here or TW where another owner replaced the struts to have the door lift up higher - might be worth a look!
