Anyone else’s A/C absolute garbage at anything under 25mph?

I understand mistakes happen but I've seen this here, TW, and on reddit.

I want to be positive for anyone here's sake but with aluminum blocks and heads you usually get 1 good overheat and then its kinda cooked.

Seems like plugging stuff back in that you unplugged is a routine part of servicing a vehicle usually... lol

This is an L mistake on the techs end. Maybe we need a sticky for people that get this done to pop the hood after and look for this plug:

My A/C started acting up after the update, but I didn't put the two things together until your posts. Sure as can be, I too had a plug hanging around, disconnected. Although I am not technical enough to name the connector, I could tell that it lead to the cooling fan. It was however a different connector than mthorpton's pics which I find puzzling. After taking pics (see attached) to show the dealer who did it I plugged it in and viola', A/C worked like a charm.

I raised hell with the dealer, but I'm sure it doesn't make a whole lot of difference. It's really frustrating that this is happening so much.

Anyone else notice their A/C doesn’t blow cold at slower speeds? Mine is great at higher speeds, luckily most of my driving with the taco is highway. In town though, or sitting at a stop, it’s not cold at all.

I took it in a parade today (going about 2mph) and by the end of it my dash was telling me to safely pull off and refer to the manual. The A/C was cranked up the entire parade but nothing cold coming out, so I’m sure the compressor was overworking and likely the source of the issue, but this shouldn’t be happening either way. I will definitely be taking it in, but wondered if anyone else was having the problem with slower speeds not producing cold air.

My buddy had the same issue on his Landcruiser. After visiting the dealer, he discovered it wasn't blowing as cold because he had his vehicle in "Eco" mode. He switched to "normal" mode and solved the issue.

yup lol...when everyone says ECO Mode does nothing, well it does more than throttle mapping; crushes that cool breeze to improve your fuel economy
