I just got the Carista OBD reader and bought the 1 month subscription. After plugging it in, it connects via Bluetooth, but when I try to connect the app, it won’t connect. Any suggestions?

Try starting the engine.

But you wrote, "it connects via Bluetooth, but when I try to connect the app, it won’t connect."

What do you mean, it's connected with Bluetooth but not the app?

When I open up my Bluetooth on my phone (iOS) I see it’s connected to Carista

1. Start the truck
2. Disable wifi on your phone. This keeps Carplay from connecting among other things
3. Insert the adapter (truck already running)
4. Wait 15-20 seconds for it to connect
5. Open the app

This has worked every time for me.

Damn.!! Started the truck with the OBD reader in and now lost all power now. Not sure if I blew a fuse?
