Hey everyone 👋

Quick question for you all.
On your truck’s body, are there any spots where a magnetic accessory could attach securely?

We’re testing a Magnetic Side Tray System idea and want to make sure it actually makes sense in real-world use.
If you know a spot, or have tried something similar before, drop a comment and let us know.
Feel free to share photos of your build too 👀
We’ll randomly pick 5 people from the comments and send one out for you to try.
Looking forward to hearing your thoughts.

This seems like a bit of a stretch.

In the time I could get this out, clamp it in place, and fish out any accessories, I would have rather just set up something like this:

Plus, with the table shown above, I don't need to worry about scuffing up my paint. It looks like a solution looking for a problem that simply doesn't exist.

That said, something like aimable lights or a hanging lantern hook would be much more useful, and could really use the "magnet" theme if you guys are just dying to use them.

Just got my truck back from full body PPF. We go camping at established sites and the middle nowhere. I’d be willing to test your product, take pics of how we use it and share my thoughts.

No way, I would never stick anything on the paint of my doors and scratch the hell out of the paint. And as others said, the bedsides are aluminum anyway.

The tire table is a way better product and I'd buy one of those first:

EXCEPT...

Our trucks already come with a free table! It folds down to use and folds up when not needed. It's big enough for three people to eat lunch on. I'll just continue to use that. (It's the tailgate 😆).

Hi everyone, regarding the concerns about possible paint damage, we’d like to clarify this clearly. Our product has gone through extensive development and high-intensity testing, and it will not damage the factory paint. All magnetic contact areas are fully rubber-coated, so they do not cause abrasion or paint peeling on the vehicle’s original finish. Please feel confident using it.

Exactly! Before I bought a couple of work platforms, I bought this to help reach the roof on the Tacoma and our Subaru Outback. It fits over the tire on our camping trailer too.

Mabey I'm a bit paranoid, but as a guy who works in their garage, rubber pads aren't enough protection to me. They are just harder to get metal shavings off of, which gets everywhere. Just a side effect of doing fab work.

What would be nice is if they had strong enough magnets, and also sold optional microfiber boots that could be replaced every few uses.
