iOS 26 Carplay - your favorite features?

There is suppose to be a new hand gesture and pinch to zoom in and out on the maps but it doesn’t look like it made it.

I'm not sure how that's possible because the screen isn't multi-touch.

In the native map I’m able to zoom in and out with 2 fingers.

AirPlay in park is such a no-brainer feature for these trucks with large, relatively high-res displays.

Unfortunately my confidence in Toyota actually turning it on is ZERO, at least for the next several years.

The one thing I don't like about the new IOS 26 update is that I lost the "talking sidekick" from Waze. I have mine set up with Venom...and on long commutes home it's entertaining to hear Brock and Venom converse and bicker over silly things.

Has anyone found a Carlinkit type device (wireless CarPlay Adapter) which will work with Gen 4 Tacoma? Had high hopes for the one which connects FireTV to the CarPlay screen but wouldn’t work. Though they claim will work with any wired CarPlay display but did not work for me. Thanks.
