It really is a good sounding engine for an I4, I have the TRD axle back and I’m happy. My only complaint is when the high stall torque converter keeps the RPMs high on certain throttle inputs and it drones on. I wish it’d shift a bit quicker in those scenarios

Yeah that's the worst about the axle dumps, I'm fairly certain they remove the resonator right? That'll cause some drone somewhere lol

We have a host of sound clips on our product page, check out those videos if you haven't already. Here is a link: https://runawe.com/3HxhXEP

I noticed a problem hanger on the exhaust. Is this something you can relay off to the correct team or should I contact support? It's no cause for concern with me as I'll just black tape a stopper to keep it from sliding off, but perhaps it'll help them with future production.

It's the hanger thats in front of the rear axle that goes the opposite way as the frame hanger. It doesn't line up completely 100% which eventually causes it to slide off with vibration and movement as the AWE exhaust doesn't have any tapered ends on the hangers like the stock does.

I noticed some vibration the other day and seen the end dump was rattling off the frame, figured some of my clamps maybe came loose but once I got underneath I seen 2-3 hangers actually completely slid out, causing the exhaust to lay on the rear axle.

Seems like an oversight to not include tapered ends for the hangers but I assume it'll be an easy fix with some black tape or rubber washers.

Guess this is a buyer beware as well for future and present buyers. Make sure to check your hangers once in a while and perhaps put something on them to keep them from sliding off.

I’m guessing you forgot to add the hanger collar clamps that are provided ?

LOL well I'll be damned.

Either mine had none provided, or they were mixed up within the the mess of bubble wrap.

Ah well, I think I still got the box laying around I'll have to check it out at some point.

To be fair I didn’t quite understand what they were for until I contacted support and added it a few days ago myself.
We do have a perfect fitment guarantee, support is always the best place to reach out if you feel something needs adjustment. In this case those locking collars are the ticket!

Support is right this way... if anyone else happens to need it.

Yup I reached out to them and got a response right away. One thing I did ask and didn’t get a see was that I have an extra pipe clamp. Is this intentional for in case something went wrong or did I miss a pipe clamp somewhere?

If I had to go on a whim, I'd say maybe for the long box? although they don't seem to provide the pipe extension anymore for the long box if you order short box so no clue lol I had an extra one too. Probably a spare

You’re probably right. I did have the extension for the 6ft bed pipe.
The extra clamp is for the extension, you are spot on. We include the extension in every kit. If you are missing components, reaching out to support will allow us to document your order information and help you find a resolution.
