Yeah I put 703s with 285/70/17 S/L Wildpeaks on mine. Those who say there is no difference over stock are either lying or not very observant. It's fine but I noticed the difference in power and ride immediately vs the stock OR tires/wheels.

Hey folks, just put new wheels and tires on my off road hybrid. Ko2 c rated. Rides pretty nice, maybe a hair less power.

You may call me Old School, but I really love the looks of the White Letters showing. It just makes everything "pop" IMO.

Nice looking ride!!

I completely agree. I went out of my way to find a tire for mine with RWL. I went with the cooper discoverer stronghold at. Probably getting put on next week.

Yeah how could you not notice a difference? Essentially any AT tire is going to be at least 15 lbs heavier each. Unless people are staying with stock size and getting P rated tires, theres going to be a significant difference.

I'd be surprised if you noticed it much on a hybrid. The hybrid has larger 18" wheels and the same outside diameter (~33") stock tires. KO2 C-loads are lighter than your SL Wildpeaks. And of course the hybrid has ridiculous low-end torque.

When I stick 285/75R17s on my inbound '25 6MT your statement will probably be VERY applicable though. Going from 36lb to 59lb tires is likely going to lose a lot of pep.

Yeah I would say it's very minor difference. Good point on the tire diameter between 265/70/18 and 285/70/17. Almost identical. New tires are slightly wider.

No rubbing at all. The factory tires are 32.6 and the new ones are 32.7. Also maybe a half inch wider. Very minor difference from stock size. (18" stock size on hybrid)

Yeah I was sad when I went to America's Tire to have KO3s installed on Method rims I bought elsewhere and they didn't ask at all. Only once I crawled under the truck did I see the lettering facing inward ... seems like they could have asked, but now it's too much hassle to swap them around. Maybe once I go in for alignment or something.
