I really wouldn't even call it poke. To me it just looks flush and not sunk in like oem.

Thank you. I really love this truck. I had a 24 land cruiser and I like this so much better.

I'd be surprised if you noticed it much on a hybrid. The hybrid has larger 18" wheels and the same outside diameter (~33") stock tires. KO2 C-loads are lighter than your SL Wildpeaks. And of course the hybrid has ridiculous low-end torque.

When I stick 285/75R17s on my inbound '25 6MT your statement will probably be VERY applicable though. Going from 36lb to 59lb tires is likely going to lose a lot of pep.
Stock Falken WP SL's @265/70/18 are 38 lbs.
KO2 C Load @285/70/17 are 51 lbs.

703’s, +35, 285/70r17 Wildpeak AT4 SL’s.

I used Autel MX sensors that I programmed to match the factory sensors, and also used the hub centric rings posted in the last pic. Everything fits great. Feels like much larger tires can fit without issue, but who knows. So far I honestly have not noticed a loss in power or ride comfort. Tires are at 37 psi

Xl high clearance
I think i might have done goofed. I just ordered the standard high clearance thinking i wont need the extra width, but i plan on going with a +35mm offset wheel as well. Although I'm going with a 275/70R18, but still by looking at your pictures i think i should have gone with the XL's... Do you have a pic looking straight along the side of the truck?

I don’t atm. I believe the difference on the xl is 1/2” extra width on the fronts, and then just added length both fronts and rears. With a 275/70r18 you should be just fine with the regular high clearance

Thats a relief.

Your truck looks amazing though! What did you get for the front badge and the rear tailgate inserts?

Thanks! So the front badge is just plastic-dipped…easy to pop off and coat it. The rear Tacoma insert letters are from Amazon. It’s black with a red outline
