Woo baby, just got back from the tire store :)

I would say I'm slightly disappointed that this is what they show on the website:

I know it's definitely not the black version, but was hoping for a little more silver on silver vibe going on.

Pleaseant surprise: the full size spare fits underneath. I honestly didn't even ask America's Tire to put it under there, I figured I'd get an in bed holder for it, as it hangs very low, but meh, I can move that later myself when I feel like it.

Thoughts?

It looks very nice I am thinking on doing this but then later I want to put a lift and don’t want to make double purchases with bigger tires for later

Looks good... I just got my 703's on same offset... Just enough poke but not crazy... What kind of lugs did you buy for the methods mine seem to stick out farther than yours? Also did the tire shop use the hubcentric rings that came with your wheels?

Also how do they feel on the highway/freeway? Or 60mph?

Nice how do you like the KO3s
Haven't had a chance to really put them through tests yet, just drove from tire shop home.

when I bought the wheels from method's website directly, I just added a set of lugs.

They did not use the rings, they were in the passenger seat when I picked the car up. I assume from the condition they're in they're brand new, and not "leftovers from the stock setup", so I guess not?

I'll need to take them out on the freeway tomorrow or this weekend. I wasn't supposed to get them until this weekend, but the store called me and said the KO2s I originally ordered were being phased out, and might not arrive on time. I paid an extra $120 for a five set of KO3s instead that were already in stock and just knocked out the install today.

I love the way the install turned out, itching to get them off the road a bit maybe this weekend.

You are right about the wheel color..same design but color is off..or is it just the lighting used when they took the pic...jmho... Very nice set up regardless with minimum poke..a win

What load rating did you go with, C or E?

I went with E but it was not my choice. So I'm debating whether or not to switch down to C and pay the difference. So far, my MPG in the city has gone from 18-19 to 16-17.

Re the load rating - Depends on what you're driving thru, I think. I've lost C's to rocks cutting the sidewall on both the 3rd and 4th gen Tacoma's. Same stinking rock pile so I knew better with this pickup, but thought I could do it 'cause I'd done it before. Not a problem since going to the E's. Just my $0.02....

@ixo Can you feel a difference in acceleration or braking with the new setup compared to the OEM setup?

Yesterday, I weighed my 18" trd OR wheel with the factory Falken tire - it is 67 lbs. The setup I am considering will come in at 81 lbs if going with the KO3 in 285/70/17 at a C load rating. If yours are C load, then your setup is probably right around 82 lbs.

Im curious if you can feel that extra rotational mass? Thanks!

Interesting. But now I know I basically have a +35 offset with the stock wheels and a 1 inch spacer!

With my very scientific bathroom scale, I see me going from OEM/Falkens at 67.5 lb/ea:

I've driven them on the freeway and they feel great. They feel "bigger" but in a good way...? No droning, not any noticeably louder than OEMs, but feel like I can hit small children with more ease than before.

Haven't kept a huge eye on MPG, but I'm one of those guys that just pays at the pump when it's time and tries not to over think it.

Thanks for reply and Im glad you feel you feel more confident against obstacles ahaha. So you'd say the truck is still just as quick and brakes just as well with the added rotational weight?
