Hello All,

I've been snooping around this forum for a while now (well before I created an account) and I figured it's time to properly introduce my truck. I bought this truck September last year and have enjoyed every single day of ownership! My original plan was to get the TRD Sport w/Premium Package, but I figured why not go all out for the old man trim and I'm glad a made the decision. I tend to have TRIM ENVY right after I buy a vehicle, but this is the first time I'm just really happy with what I picked for myself. All the chrome that most people don't like doesn't bother me and I have no plans to blackout anything along with the 2 piece "chrome wheels" :ROFLMAO:

My Mods include:
MESO Customs Map & Dome Light (The best way to get brighter LEDs while adding functional red lights for those who need to be a bit tactical)
Beatsonic 2T3 "AMP" (Does a great job increasing the gain to the speakers but lacks in basic functionality especially if you have a JBL System)
Memphis Audio 6 1/2 Component Speakers and Tweeters (Changed out the rear speakers and mounted the tweeters in the best location I was comfortable with. This is probably one of my favorite additions to the truck.)
Rockford Fosgate Enclosed/Powered 10" Sub (I needed more bass, not a great addition if you don't properly tap into the rear speakers after the factory JBL AMP. This causes the sub to run independently with no control with the factory volume knob. I'm waiting on the proper wiring harness and LOC from TACOTUNES to fix this issue)
Cobb Accessport w/CamTuning Flash (By far my favorite mod, the increases power always buts a big smile on my face while I'm driving. My previous car was a 2023 RAV4 hybrid so the difference in power is still something I haven't gotten used to)
Cobb Cold Air Intake (Had it for three weeks, I can definitely see how much faster the boost happens and how it sustains while driving. I also love that its almost similar to an OEM replacement and of course the slight increase in turbo noise)
Toyota tonneau cover (A must have since this bad boy is a grocery getter)
Toyota bed mat (I love the grip of the mat, the previously mention groceries do not slide around)
TacoNet tailgate net from Amazon (GROCERIES!)

That's pretty much all I can think of! I don't have any more plans for mods/upgrades for the moment. I might reach for the full CAMTuning Tune since I upgraded the CAI and might look for swapping the wheels with the 6th Gen 4Runner Limited set. But that will be way down the road. Please enjoy the picture of my truck in its nature habitat (Dirty and parked in my driveway!) Feel free to ask me any questions about my mods or the Limited Tacoma specifically.

Welcome and thanks for sharing your build!
How did you decide which brands and types of speakers to get?

For the speaker and tweeter speakers its just trusted brand I used back in the day. Really most speakers in the $60-$100 range will be an improvement. Even though the rear speakers aren't amplified, they made a big difference in sound quality at a louder volume. The sub was recommended by @PNWkip, once I had the information it was a no brainer. It's a great powered sub in a compact size. I don't have any storage space, so it sits on the rear seat for now but I have a plan to create better solution using my 3D printer.

Great stuff Zerek. It's been fun working with you on the truck.
Yes indeed! I really appreciate the assistance you offered from day one. Wish I had reached out to you before buying directly from Cobb!

TacoTunes harness and Line Out Converter arrived today. This will fix the issues I have with controlling the sub volume with the headunit.

I’d suggest petg-cf as it tolerates heat well and the carbon will help the print be more dimensionally correct.

i warn you, petg can be a pita if it’s not dry and been in a warmer/drier for a while.
