Ordered on 1/28/26, got them yesterday (2/2/26).
Just need warmer weather to wash and install.

What does the adhesive adhere to? The actual tail lamp? Any idea how hard it is to take off

It just the 3m tape,not hard to take it off

Not everyone likes dark tail lights, probably means if anyone buys a truck with them pre-installed it could be a pain to remove and get clean.



Personally I'm considering them. I've been waiting to spot a set in the wild so I can really see them up close in person before pulling the trigger. I've run various aftermarket tail lights in the past and seen countless reviews and videos on them but none seem to last as long as OEM for most vehicles. I also don't need nor want fancy flashing or lighting patterns. I'm more looking into them because red tail lights to me are just ugly. When you have beautiful paint (in my case bronze), with color coordinated black trim, accessories, topper or bed rack, bumpers, wheels that accentuate the colors and then a giant block of red that doesn't match anything else. Mabey if the truck started red, but it just disrupts the "Feng sui" so to speak.

Be interested to see how they handle a lot of rain, car washes etc. I could see some water (condensation) between the cover and light. We shall see I guess. I think I'd prefer just getting them tinted. Cheap and easy to remove.

Everybody behind you who will get to barely see your brake lights now will really love the mod.

They are not that dark to prevent not seeing them plus I have the third brake light on the back of the cab and I installed the hitch light that makes a 4th light. Not worried about someone not seeing my lights.

The 3M tape is clear so you won't see the adhesive plus they give you another roll to fill any gaps to prevent water getting in. I hope.
