Looking for suggestions for a online store that is trustworthy for OEM parts, e.g. air filters, oil filters, crush washers, toyota oils, etc???? I hate paying dealership prices, and hate the drive.

Search the part number on Google and find the cheapest dealership parts dept. Combine that with the occasional sales and you can get >40% discount.

thks Maxx,

I've kinda done that, but I see "Non Toyota parts Dept stores" with cheaper prices but generally don't trust most stores to have GENIUNE Toyota parts vs. chinese knockoffs.

Just wondering if anyone has a lead to a source they trust or verified to be OEM?

If there's no such animal then I will hold out for sales from a dealership.

I have never seen anyone beat the Toyota dealer parts site (autoparts.toyota.com) when sales are going on. Most dealers there discount prices decently at any given time and then the occasional sales are what make them beat everyone else.

Aside from that, Partsouq, Toyota Parts Giant, Toyota Parts Deal & BAM Wholesale are about the only decent options I know of.

thanks BLtheP,

Spent the last few days trying to source the K&N cone type filter for a TRD Pro and the dealer prices are silly.

I'll check the stores u mentioned.

Here is a list of discount dealers (most of them are). Sorry, they are dealers. Some discount more than others. Shop around. My dealer discounts ~30% off list, where over-the-counter prices are marked UP from list price. Example. I get oil filters online at my dealer for $4.50. List price is $6.60. Over-the-counter at my local dealer is over $8.

There is currently a 15% nationwide Memorial Day sale going on at some of these dealers. At my dealer, that is on top of their 30% discount.

Thanks for sharing this list. I've ordered from Camelback and Fred Anderson before with good results. Unfortunately my local dealer also marks up over-the-counter OEM parts. It's really frustrating.

Thanks Pappy,

We're seeing the same dealers - American and Group 1 on Eubank. I'll keep an eye out for some sales.

I suppose if you wanna be sure your parts are OEM and not chinese knockoffs the dealerships are the way.

(Local Autozone did have some OEM (?) Toyota filters)

I suppose it would make good sense for all to post any Memorial Day sales that pop up!!

The discount at American is greater than Karl Malone/Sandia/Group 1. I just spent a bunch at American.

Also, American has two parts websites. The one you want is autoparts.americantoyota.com. Discount is better, and they don't charge $5 to pick up in the store. Don't use parts.americantoyota.com.

They're showing 15% off Memorial thru the 26th.

Post the sales on OEM gents if you see some!
The 15% is on top of any discount the dealer normally offers. So, take the discount price the dealer shows, then take 15% off the discount price. Example, I just ordered three air filters. List price: $30.99. Discount price: $19.54. With the additional 15% they were $16.61 each. Plus tax, of course. No shipping charge since I will pick them up tomorrow (American Toyota).

When I bought my Trailhunter grille I found Sparks Toyota to be the cheapest at the time. Shipped quick and got the grille for $220, free shipping.

I currently own 10 vehicles, most of them Toyotas, and I’ve been surprised to find that the dealership is often the least expensive place to buy a battery. On the other hand, for higher-priced parts, I’ve found that ordering online and having them shipped to Omaha is usually cheaper than buying directly from my local Toyota dealership just a few miles away. What’s even more surprising is that they won’t price match, which seems crazy to me.
