OTT Tune to Fix Rev Hang on Manual Transmission

Hello, I am wondering if there is an option for the OTT tune to only remove the rev hang from the 6MT equipped Tacoma. I don’t want the whole tune for the engine, the only thing I want to change is eliminating the rev hang. I don’t feel the need to overstress my engine and squeeze every last HP out of it but I really can’t stand driving it with all the rev hang it comes with in stock configuration. Would it be cheaper to just do this as opposed to buying the whole tune?

Another thing the OTT tune does is give the 6MT the same redline as the automatic has. That is nice for 1st gear.

My understanding is that the tune comes as a complete load. Less features isn't cheaper. I also didn't need the extra output.

I wouldn’t want to raise the redline either. The chief engineer has stated crankshaft hammering issues on the 6MT above the stock redline, and I find this motor makes all the torque I’ll ever need below 4000 RPM. I used to have a Civic Si and my days of wringing out the engine to 8000 RPM are over haha

6000rpm capability is nice to have though for 1st gear.

@JustDSM can shed further light here - but the 6MT calibration is super solid. I don't think you would be dissatisfied from an in person tune, or remote tuning via the COBB AP device. Some software options have limitations in certain areas, while others do not.
