Hi everyone,

Just looking for thoughts on the pedal commander. Does it really make a difference?

They make some bold claims on fuel economy improvements but how you drive is how you get better MPGs in the city. If they can get me 40mpgs prove it - otherwise I’m not screwing with the pedal. The anti theft feature too / a subscription for that!? They don’t disclose what it costs, red flag gimmick

Correction: if you’re getting the pedal commander for fuel economy improvements my recommendation is a HARD NO. I just crushed my previous trip record, and I drive a TH which gets the shittiest gas mileage of the gen 4s. It’s all in technique w/ the pedal in ECO mode

if Pedal Commander wants to send me one to test, I’m game. Do better than this print in Denver rush hour! ⛽

So the slower I go, the more MPG I get?

LMAO that's typical rush hour speeds/moving w/traffic in Denver. Some of the worst traffic in the nation.

You don't need a controller box for improved MPGs, ECO mode does it already and you just need to master the art of coasting.

Opposite end of the spectrum: maybe that pedal commander lights up sport mode even more, IDK. This gizmo is a hard sell, we're talking about 4 bangers

No.

Put the truck in Sport Mode if you want more performance.

Put the truck in Eco Mode if you want more empeegees.

Both of those do MUCH better than installing a widget that literally only simulates your foot pushing the accelerator pedal harder or softer.
